Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with homework, supervising inside and outside play, making sure snacks/lunch is eaten.
Ensuring the overall safety and well-being of students in his/her care is essential.
Requirements Interacting with not only the students but teachers and parents, the applicant would need good communication and organizational skills.
People skills are a must.
A sense of responsibly and safety is needed, taking care to check that students are signed in and signed out safely and correctly.
Previous work experience in the field is not required but preferred.
A successful applicant, if hired, would be required to be fingerprinted and attend a VIRTUS training class offered through the ADLA.
Personal and professional references are also required.
Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget.
New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
